Full Time Tenure Track Faculty Position - Any Subfield in Psychology
The Department of Psychology at The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, invites applications for an open rank, full time tenure-track faculty positions in both the General and Clinical tracks. We welcome applicants with a strong academic record, from any subfield in psychology. Our department values theoretical and methodological diversity and innovation, and embraces interdisciplinary collaboration.
Applicants should hold a PhD in psychology or a related field and are expected to have completed postdoctoral training as well as a record of publications in leading academic journals and the ability to pursue externally funded research. Successful applicants will be expected to establish an independent and innovative research program, contribute to undergraduate and graduate teaching and supervise students' research. We welcome collaboration with other department members.
Candidates from all areas of psychology will be considered for the General track, including but not limited to cognitive, social, developmental, experimental, neuropsychology, and computational approaches. For the Clinical track, we seek candidates with expertise in clinical psychology and a strong commitment to clinically relevant research, including areas such as psychopathology, psychological assessment, and intervention. We particularly encourage applications from candidates whose work is informed by or aligned with dynamic psychotherapy. Applicants to the Clinical track are expected to have appropriate clinical training, or to be in the process of completing such training, in accordance with professional requirements. License or license eligibility is required.
